LCP EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH POGO CHARGE FOR ULTRA-RAPID EV CHARGING POINTS AT A FURTHER 52 SITES

LCP, part of M Core, has signed a Development Agreement with PoGo Charge, the EV Charge Point Operator (CPO), to deliver ultra-rapid (UR) DC charging points at 52 retail sites across the UK.

This second phase agreement adds a further 254 UR DC charging points to the 252 already deployed through the first phase of the agreement, signed in November 2023, which outline 658 DC charging points. With both phases combined, PoGo Charge will deploy over 900 EV charging points across LCP owned retail parks nationwide.

It comes shortly after the first M Core site to feature eight PoGo Touch Plus Ultra-Rapid DC charging points went live at the Washington shopping centre  in time to be used as a Checkpoint for the recent EV Rally.

Each of the installations in England, Scotland and Wales will be fully funded by PoGo, helping to further accelerate the rollout of the UK’s EV charging infrastructure.

Central to each of the new installations will be the PoGo Touch – with a power range of 50-600kW this unit offers the fastest charging speeds of any charger currently in the UK. It also offers an impressive 32-inch touch screen to display tariff and payment instructions as well as providing a platform for local retailers to promote in-store discounts and other incentives.
